Acupuncture
Why Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the insertion of needles into specific places on an animal’s body to produce a healing response.
Acupuncture is based on that concept that there are pathways in the body, called meridians.
Everywhere a needle is inserted is an access point to a meridian.
Each acupuncture point stimulates a different response inside the body.
How does Acupuncture work?
We do not completely understand how acupuncture works.
Scientific research has proved that acupuncture improves many conditions in both animals and people.
It is safe and effective alternative or additional treatment to help your pet remain comfortable and happy.

Medical Reasons for Acupuncture
Acupuncture helps to make pets better by:
- stimulating nerves,
- increases blood flow,
- speeding up the movement of healing cells
- activating the immune system
- causing the release of hormones, such as endorphins which help to reduce pain and discomfort
- relieving muscle spasms
