Rehabilitation
This is for pets who are recovering from surgery or who have long term conditions which benefit from hydrotherapy (see Why Swim? For examples of these).
Our first session for rehabilitation includes:
- Evaluation of the pet’s veterinary history sent in by your vet alongside their Veterinary Referral Form. View Form
- Health check of your pet to ensure that they are suitable and safe to swim.
- Weighing and measuring muscle mass (as indicated by your pet’s condition).
- Evaluation of your pet’s gait and planning of the hydrotherapy required to help their problem.
A first rehabilitation session typically lasts about one hour and costs £45.00
Follow-up rehabilitation sessions last 30-45 minutes depending on your pet’s level of fitness and stamina. Each follow up session costs £31.50.
A block booking of ten pre-paid rehabilitation swims (after the first session) costs £290.

Fitness Sessions
All pets need a veterinary referral before attending hydrotherapy, even those without any medical conditions.
Fitness sessions are great for improving cardiovascular fitness, strengthening muscles, and improving joint flexibility.
Depending on your dog’s health and fitness, these may be either in the pool or on the treadmill.
Each fitness session lasts up to half an hour although this will depend on your dog’s performance and co-operation. Each session will include a pre and post swim shower as well as a check over, this is all included in your 30-minute time slot.
Each Fitness session costs £26.50
A block booking of ten pre-paid fitness sessions costs £240.
Any session at which two members of staff need to be present costs an additional £15.

Day care for Hydrotherapy Pets
We know how hard it can be to fit your pet’s hydrotherapy into your busy schedule.
We have kennels attached to our hydrotherapy unit and can provide day care for pets so you can drop them off before work and collect them after their session on your way home.
All pets are supervised throughout the day. We are happy to feed and, where needed, administer medications during their stay with us. We have an exercise area where they can go to the toilet.
Cost of day care per hour £2.00
